Rev. Armond S. Floyd

Evangelist Missionary Pastor:

"Pastor-FUZZ" as he prefers to be called is currently on assignment with Bridge of Hope Waterloo Iowa. He serves as Youth Pastor & Outreach Evangelist. Rev. Floyd has been ministering to teens since he himself was a teen.  Rededicating his life at a Buster Sorres Youth Rally in the mid 80’s, Armond began his ministry by calling his brother & some of his closest friends to get into a closer relationship with God. He has in some form or another been reaching communities wherever he lived for Christ for over 2 decades.

Since then "FuZz" has been blessed to see thousands of youth, young adults and adults come to Christ get off drugs, return to their communities as positive role models and even go on to school to become ministers themselves. He has dedicated himself to the cause of spreading the Gospel in a one to one personal way insuring that the conversions made were solid & true.

Originally from the streets of Paterson New Jersey Armond and his wife Rachel, have been trained & certified in various teaching parent models, and have run several youth advocacy homes & young adult programs both in New Jersey & in Wisconsin.

Armond's work with Young Community takes him to cities all over the Sheboygan County & this country. He speaks to large groups of teens/ young adults about making wise choices and having clean lifestyles. The work Armond performs by speaking to teen groups is essential to communities. By the age of 12, teens begin to test the convictions of their parents and stretching their adolescent wings. Having a public figure like Armond to reinforce good morals goes a long way toward helping teens consider their behavior and stay out of trouble.

Armond is uniquely gifted to work with teens & young adults. It is evident that God has formed his gifts. The past several years he has been reaching teens throughout N.E. Wisconsin, as well as several other states where he goes to perform and speak. For example; Fla., In., Ill., MT., ND., and also SD., IA., NJ., GA., TN., and several other states.

"When Armond walks into a room, everyone pays attention because he is the size of an NFL lineman. And when he speaks, you discover he has a heart that is just as big. Armond has had a significant ministry in the lives of countless numbers of teens & other kids here in WI and in NJ. There have been many times when Armond has had to speak with teens about suicide attempts, self-inflicted wounds and dealings in the occult. Also gang banging, rape, divorcing parents, drug abuse and premarital sex. God has allowed Armond to be in the lives of many a teen."

-- Reverend James Sutton Director Young Community Inc.

Some of God’s Gifts to Brother Floyd are music, speaking or understanding other languages, humor, spiritual discernment. A beautiful & supportive wife and an awesome family of 4 along with 2 grandsons.

Armond would like you to know that His Favorite Scriptures are Eph. 6: 10-18, Romans 8: 28-39 and the entire books of James, Kings, Acts, Revelations, Ezekiel… and so on & so on...

You can read his ongoing supporters update letters at the following web-log site: www.xanga.com/Pastorfuzz to learn more about his mission and vision to today's teen and young adult groups.

Clete & Teresa Bresson        "Clete & T"

Youth Sponsors / Coaches

Teresa was born & raised in Santa Cruz California, Moved to Waterloo in 1993.

Clete was born & raised in Waterloo and traveled a lot which is where he met "T" and they decided to move back to Waterloo in 93'.

Teresa accepted Christ in 2003, and was baptized in 2005 with their son Joey.  Both Clete and Teresa are serving as sponsor, Teresa  since November 2005 and Clete since November 2006.

Even though this is their first time serving as youth sponsors ever/anywhere, "T" and her husband Clete are vital parts of our youth ministry! Both of them are more than just your average sponsor or youth workers. Along with their heart for teens and working with them at the church She & Clete are ever working with them at their home and continually allowing youth functions to be held at their house. Even when the need is housing some of our teens because at times the teens life circumstances put the them without a place to live.
