Bridge of Hope:
Our name comes from the belief that Jesus
is the bridge which brings hope and life to all who will
trust in him and that Jesus has called us to be a bridge
of hope to our world.
The Bridge:
The bridge represents our separation from
God and God’s solution to the disconnect. (John 14:6)
The Colors:
The dirty brown represents our dark and self-centered
tendency (John 3:19). The white bridge represents light
which came into the world through Jesus (John 1:9;
12:46). The deep blue represents water which Jesus used
to symbolize cleansing by the Holy Spirit. (John 4:13)
The 3 Empty Crosses:
The center cross (John 19:18) represents the cross of
Jesus, who died as sacrifice for our sins. The cross on
the right represents the criminal who believed Jesus and
was given the promise of eternal life with Jesus. The
cross to the left represents the criminal who rejected
Jesus. (Luke 23:39-43)
