Faith Reformed Church has a home called the
House Near The
Bay that they are offering to any person in full
time ministry. The home is a 3 bedroom, fully
furnished. It requires a $100 deposit and
suggested $10 donation.

Stays can be one night to a week. For couples
or families.
The Lodge
- This retreat in Michigan for pastors
and lay leaders focuses on rekindling a
love of Christ and his Church in all
those who visit. Pastors can sign up for
both five and 10-day retreats. Each
retreat includes times of group worship
and sharing as well as extended amounts
of personal time for reflection, study,
recreation, prayer, confession.

Stats
Last week I was at the RCA’s Church Planters
Retreat. Tim Vink, who leads the Church
Multiplication area of the RCA shared some
stats. I think I have them pretty
correct…they come from a report of Bruce
Laverman, RCA Evangelism staff person.
A study was done of 7 denominations
(including the RCA) which found that out of
30,000 congregations, 150 had 5 or more
adult baptism per year over a 3 year
period. That works out to .005% of the
total congregations studied having this
level of adult baptisms per year. - Jim
