PRICELESS GIFT #1: THE GIFT OF TRUE FRIENSHIP
True Friends help each other
They sold their property and possessions and shared the
money with those in need. (Acts 2:45 NLT)
There were no needy people among them, because those who
owned land or houses would sell them and bring the money
to the apostles to give to those in need. (Acts 4:34-35
NLT)
Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud
and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable.
Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we
need for our enjoyment. Tell them to use their money to
do good. They should be rich in good works and generous
to those in need, always being ready to share with
others. (1 Timothy 6:17-18 NLT)
16 We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his
life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for
our brothers and sisters. 17 If someone has enough money
to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but
shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that
person? (1 John 3:16-17 NLT)
You’ll give many unneeded gifts. Look for needs!!!
Who needs help?
True Friends confide in each other
I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t
confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I
have told you everything the Father told me. (John 15:15
NLT)
